About this event
Andrew Thornett introduced the radio astronomy activities open to amateur astronomers, including listening to transmissions from the International Space Station, detecting meteors, picking up emissions from Jupiter, detecting solar flares and recording changes in the Earth's magnetic field.
Most of these projects work whatever the weather and at any time of day.
